Gentian. Wool People 6

Wool People 6 is here!

Gentian is my  contribution in Wool People 6. A textured cabled hat worked in Shelter in “Almanac”. I hope you like it!

Crag Hat


Sizes: Average Adult. To fit head sizes 53-58 cm / 21-23”.

Finished Measurements: 42 cm / 16½" brim circumference and 46 cm /18" circumference body of hat, 21cm / 8¼ " height from base of ribbing to top center of crown. Measurements taken from relaxed fabric after blocking.

Yarn: 185 yards of worsted weight wool yarn.

Shown in: Alize Lanagold (51% Acrylic, 49% Wool; 240 m / 262 yards per 100g ball).

Needles: 3.50 mm/US 4 and 4.50 mm/US 7 circular needle, 40 cm/16" long; 1 set 4.50mm/US 7 doublepointed needles or long circular needle for magic loop.

Notions: 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Gauge: 19 stitches and 26 rounds = 4” in Stockinette Stitch worked in the round with larger needle, before blocking.
